FAQ

What does The Midnight Archive sell?

The Midnight Archive sells low-contrast wall art for warm, collected interiors. Pieces are available as matte paper prints, canvas prints, and select framed options depending on the product.

The goal is simple: art that completes the room without taking it over.

Are these original paintings?

No. The Midnight Archive sells printed wall art, not original paintings.

Some pieces are studio-composed works developed through a digital and AI-assisted creative process, then edited, color-corrected, resized, and prepared for physical printing. Other pieces may be based on public-domain archival material when clearly stated.

We do not present studio-composed pieces as antique originals, hand-painted works, or independent-artist originals.

What materials do you use?

Paper prints are produced on advanced matte paper with a smooth, low-glare finish. Canvas pieces are printed on artist-grade canvas and prepared for display.

Materials vary by format, but the intent is consistent: warm tone, low glare, and a surface that works in real interiors.

What is the difference between paper and canvas?

Paper prints are best if you want a classic framed-art look or plan to use your own frame. They ship rolled and ready to frame.

Canvas has more physical presence and works well when you want a finished object with less framing complexity. Framed canvas options arrive ready to hang.

Are framed pieces ready to hang?

Yes. Framed pieces arrive with hanging hardware attached or ready for immediate hanging depending on format.

How long will my order take?

Most orders are produced in 2-5 business days. Standard delivery after production usually takes 4-12 business days. Most U.S. orders arrive within 6-17 business days from the date the order is placed.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States only.

What if the piece does not work in my room?

During launch, every order is covered by our 30-day risk-free guarantee. If the piece does not work in your room, email us within 30 days of delivery and we will help make it right.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

Email us within 14 days with your order number and clear photos of the damage and packaging. We replace damaged pieces at no charge.

Why do your pieces look muted?

That is intentional. The collection is built around warm, aged, low-contrast artwork designed for dark walls, textured rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, studies, shelves, and gallery walls. These pieces are meant to settle into a room rather than dominate it.
