Burritt published his Atlas of the Heavens in 1835 for people who wanted to understand the sky without being astronomers. This chart organizes the circumpolar stars month by month, practical, precise, and still somehow romantic. There is something quietly moving about a map made for ordinary people to look up and find themselves. It works well near books, instruments, and other pieces that reward attention.
